Pompeii Reader ½The Living City Download ☆ Berkingmad Pompeii, The Living City35 Stars I'm going to Pompeii in October so I'm reading and watching all I can about it This book was very interesting with the small details I was looking for This book is than just Pompeii it's Roman history from the start of Pompeii to it's ruin I enjoyed learning about Pompeii growing it's vineyards and pomegranates I wasn't aware that a huge earthuake had struck 17 years prior to the final disaster and how the people were trying to rebuild This book covers the actual people that history knows about that lived and died in Pompeii I also wasn't aware of the civil war between Emperors and now I know to look for these markings on the city gates I enjoyed the everyday life the graffiti on the walls etc why 35 There was a lot that I could could skim I understood the 2 authors wanted to give us the whole history but I was interested in Pompeii itself than Roman politics I know it's sets the stageI didn't need the fiction
