    The Healer's Defense Heir of Drachma Book 1 Book ¿ Paperback Ç Berkingmad The Healer's Defense Heir of Drachma Book 1The Healer's Defense is the first book in a trilogy but what I didn't realize until I picked it up is that this trilogy is a seuel to The Book of Drachma trilogy and unfortunately without that background this book just doesn't make a lot of senseI spent most of the book confused There's so many characters that don't get introduced presumably because readers of the first trilogy would already know them the plot constantly references things that previously happened and nothing is explained again for the new reader There is an overview of the previous trilogy in the beginning of the book but while it might be handy for a reader who needs a refresher of the other books it wasn't enough for someone who had never read them to have any clue what was going on So to start off with I would have recommended that this not be labeled as the start of a new series when it so heavily depends on knowledge of the first booksEven the
